The Spanish are big spenders in terms of fragrances .
MINTEL's most recent Fragrances and Cosmetics report confirms that France has the biggest fragrances market, set to be worth around 1.7 billion Euros in 2010.
However, the Spanish are the ones who spend the most on their fragrances.
In 2010, the Spanish spent 40 Euros each on fragrances, approximately 8 Euros more than the French.
The fragrance market has grown 30% since 2001, with Spain being the second largest fragrance market, totalling a huge 1.6 billion Euros.
Nearly all (96%) Spanish women use fragrances, which makes fragrances more popular than in France, the UK and Germany.
A third of the Spanish love to spray perfume more than once a day, more than women in the remaining three countries. In addition, 85% of Spanish men love splashing on aftershave.
