The market research company, Euromonitor International, forecasts that the skincare market for Chinese men is going to grow by 29 percent from 2011 to 2014.
This growth figure contrasts with a lower growth figure of 6 per cent for North America, with 8 per cent for Europe.
Euromonitor International claims that the men's cosmetics market is currently one per cent of the entire beauty and health care sector in China.
The women's makeup market in China is quite developed, with the men's market lagging behind.
This of course means that there is much room for innovative as well as new products.
Euromonitor confirms that the men's makeup market in China is was the most dynamic sector for beauty and makeup care in 2009 and indicated that reasonably priced, widely distributed products are anticipated to increase in sales the most.
