At the end of 2010, the Danish government banned the use of certain parabens, or chemical preservatives, in cosmetics products for children aged under the age of three.
Hence, the fragrance company Symrise has launched certain makeup alternatives.
The German company has launched its alternative, Hydrolite 6, which does not use preservatives.
A spokesperson for the company stresses that this initiative confirms the company is interested in ensuring that that it uses high quality, healthy ingredients in its skincare products to enhance health and wellbeing .
Current manufacturing techniques combined with employee expertise have ensured the development of cutting-edge cosmetic ingredients as found in Hydrolite 6.
The company states that it has taken into consideration skin-friendliness as well as consumer need for highly active ingredients.
