Since opening a year ago in Birminghams Pavilions Shopping Centre, the UKs first Halal beauty shop has seen business flourish.
The enterprise, started by 20-year-old Rose Brown, is aimed at the citys large muslim population and customers can buy beauty products which are halal certified and vegan registered.
Ms Brown creates her own range of products called The PHB Collection, which features 80 cosmetic and skincare products that are handmade in the UK using natural ingredients and eco-friendly packaging.
She said: "People have been really positive. I have had support and encouragement from around the country from people who are so happy to have found us. Muslims, vegans and vegetarians love our products because they dont conflict with their personal and religious beliefs.
"Our products also appeal to the conscious consumer whos looking for chemical-free beauty products. People who want to use natural, ethical and beneficial beauty products are always so pleased with our phenomenal range as well as our extremely affordable prices."
