When Olay Professional, a new line of anti-ageing topicals, hit the shelves in the US in 2008 it sold out instantly and when it was launched in the UK in July this year, it became the top-selling skin care product on Boots.com during its launch week.
According to Olay, they have created the Professional products with input from 8 top dermatologists from New York, LA and the UK as an Olay Professional Alliance for Skin care Innovation.
The range provides an innovative approach to tackling the signs of skin ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles, loss of tone and patchiness with 5 core products. The range includes an Exfoliating Cream Cleanser and Eye Wrinkle Complex, and a core range of three wrinkle-fighting topical products that make up the Olay Professional 3-part daily regime Anti-Wrinkle Kit: Age Defying Day Moisturiser SPF30 (broadspectrum UV protection is key to anti-ageing products), Wrinkle Smoothing Cream and Deep Wrinkle Complex.
When Olay asked 200 UK dermatology experts to try the Professional line before unveiling it in the UK, 81 per cent said they would continue using products after the 28-day trial, and 80 per cent said they would recommend them to friends.
