For three weeks at Harrods in London, two boutiques (fashion and beauty), every single store window and a large installation will all be devoted to Chanel’s latest Autumn/Winter collection.
The Beauty Hall, which is located on the ground floor features the “Knightsbridge Collection”, created by Peter Philips, Creative Director of Chanel makeup . Each product is named after famous areas of London such as Belgravia, Kensington and Chelsea. According to legendary makeup artist Mary Greenwell, ‘the products speak about London in an English Rose way, from the glowy Brompton Road blush to the bright pink lipsticks’.
There is also the chance to try out the latest new sparkily eyeshadows, called Illusion d’Ombre which have a mousse like texture and can easily be applied by finger tip to make eyes twinkle.
With autumn upon us, a neautral nail colour that will perfectly complement the A/W wardrobe is Chanel’s Imperial. It is a beautiful chocolate brown with a tone that keeps it warm instead of too dark.
